And A Real Hydrangea

There is a conversation that my son has with me every time we go somewhere that sells garden plants.

“No, Mum. We do not need any more plants”

“We always need more plants”

“I’m confiscating your credit card then…”

In my head my garden is a Pinterest perfect place of beauty. In real life, I have an innate inability to keep plants alive (see Faux Flowers for further proof of this!). I always need to replace the dead ones before anyone notices.

So, yes, I purchased another white hydrangea. But I still only have one of them in my garden.
